Horse Heaven Hill continues to produce some of the most elegant wines of this generation. The Hills are a long range of high, rolling hills just inside Klickitat, Yakima and Benton counties in Washington. Washington state is usually thought of as cool, rainy climate. HHH is actually one of the driest and warmest areas in the North East. The AVA is known for producing fine quality wines, the Cabernet can range from juicy, ripe jammy to dry, tannic powerhouses.
Andrew Browne -winemaker has produced this fine specimen to honor his family name.
The 2015 Cabernet HHH is elegant, juicy and jammy. Big notes of Black Cherry lead off. Your mouth begins to water immediately. Rich and velvety with spice lingering on the end. So GOOOD. Once again I have hit Nirvana. May I just sit here and contemplate each sip of this perfect wine. Enjoying this wine is like admiring a Monet or Renoir while listening to a Beethoven or Mozart.
Enjoy $$
